Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, on Sunday became the fastest player in the Premier League history to reach 50 assists in 141 games, breaking Eric Cantona's previous record of the same assist in 143 games.

Arsene Wenger saluted Petr Cech's reaction to his poor display against Brighton and Hove Albion as the goalkeeper went from "hell to heaven" in a week by playing a vital role and reaching 200 Premier League clean sheets in Sunday's win over Watford. "The first 18 games with nine clean sheets got me to 199 but then the last 11 games was sometimes frustrating but the most important thing is to win and so it was defeats that was more frustrating".

According to the Guardian, Aubameyang explained that having fewer games made it more hard for him to find a rhythm at Arsenal after his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

He has therefore been forced to sit out of both legs against Swedish side Ostersund as well as the trip to face boyhood club AC Milan last week, a game the Gunners won 2-0.

"You are 4-0 up and conceded late goals. I think I've shown in 22 years that I can do that, that I'll respect everyone's opinion and focus on my job with total commitment", Wenger said.

"Now I am feeling better".

"I am disappointed because I can't help my team".

"Yes, of course, I worry".

"That's my celebration since I'm young and yes that's it I'll do it all my life".

Aubameyang has played for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League this season and though that does not make him ineligible for the Europa League, the fact that the German side have dropped into the competition does.
