India's Virat Kohli set a new batting record as he put on another masterclass with an unbeaten century against hosts South Africa on Friday to secure an easy eight-wicket victory and win the one-day global series 5-1.

The live broadcast of the 1ST T20I between India and South Africa will start at 6:00 pm IST. While batting, South African openers Aiden Markram (24) and Hashim Amla (10) made another sedate start.

Virat and Anushka have been the biggest cheerleaders for each other, even before they said I do. If during the course of that, if you're thinking about the team, special things happen. "It's a blessing that I am healthy and getting to captain my country", Kohli said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

Such was the dominance of the Indians that the explosive Klassen failed to find a way to free his arms and when he attempted to drive a slower one from Bumrah, skipper Virat Kohli smartly grabbed a low catch at short cover. Now Virat has made 500 runs in ODI series leaving behind Australian George Bailey who scored 478 runs against India in 2013-14.

After taking his side over the line, Kohli said, "People who are close to me deserve a lot of credit".

"You want to lead from the front with your performances", said Kohli. I was sitting in the same room giving a press conference. "We didn't feel like we wanted to change something else", he added. So we understand where we have come from.

The young pacer played just the one ODI, the final game, where he finished with a four-wicket haul.

"At the same time, there are players back in India who have been doing well in domestic cricket". Team India is now visiting South Africa and considering the ICC schedule, they had to play a Test, a ODI and a T20I competition against the local team South Africa.

Chahal soon joined the party, knocking off de Villiers' leg stick with a flipper to reduce the Proteas to 105/3, before wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klassen (22) joined Zondo for a brief 30-run fourth wicket stand. He doesn't have too much time either, as India have only two ODI series left outside Asia - in England later this year and in New Zealand early next year - before the World Cup.

The two teams' performance at the World T20 shows the difference - India have won, ended runners-up and losing semi-finalist once each.

Khanna told ANI, "The aggressive attitude which the Indian team has taken to defeat South Africa on their own soil is a great achievement".
