The Brazilian netted in further Coupe de la Ligue wins over Saint-Etienne and Lyon as Paris Saint-Germain again won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue plus the Trophee des Champions.

PSG splashed out £38 million to sign Moura from Brazilian club Sao Paolo and he was at the time considered as being one of the best up and coming talents in South America. "We signed a player who has not competed for six to seven months".

Lucas typically operated from the right at PSG but has shown the versatility to play from the left, too, and if the team are attacking down the opposite flank, he has the intelligence and positional sense to provide a real threat at the back post.

Moura emerged as a serious target for Tottenham over the past month, with the winger having previously been linked with Manchester United. "I think we have a lot of quality and I think we can win big things".

Tottenham haven't disclosed the exact fee but the Mirror claim the north Londoners have paid PSG around £25m - which is a superb deal in today's market for a player of his potential.
