Stormy Daniels dodges affair questions in Kimmel interview

The Wall Street Journal reported January 12 that a lawyer representing Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to Daniels one month before the 2016 presidential election to prevent her from discussing an alleged sexual encounter 10 years earlier between her and Trump.

Mrs. Trump and the president have had a tumultuous relationship at times over the years, but few episodes have roiled the peace as much as the news surrounding Ms. Daniels.

Daniels-real name Stephanie Clifford-appeared on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live under somewhat freakish circumstances: Her rumored nondisclosure agreement means she can't talk about her alleged tryst with Trump in a hotel room in 2006. I am not denying this affair because I was paid "hush money' as has been reported in overseas-owned tabloids".

And shortly before the Kimmel show, a statement appeared online, which Daniels denied signing, only to be contradicted shortly thereafter by her lawyer. The affair was recently brought into the spotlight again thanks to a detailed and candid transcript of a 2011 interview with Daniels published by In Touch last month.

President Trump's alleged mistress "Stormy Daniels" appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after Trump's State of the Union speech. It came from the internet, she added. While Daniels denied having ever shoplifted, she did admit to having sex with a married man, and more specifically having sex with a married man at a golf tournament, although she never named Trump.

"Stormy Daniels is lying, she knows what she did and she's on her Make America Horny Again tour", she continued. "So you're saying perhaps this letter was written and released without your approval?" "I'd love to see someone interview her". "I know a lot about dirty, and I wouldn't do that". "Stormy, show me on the puppet what he did to you".

Williams then revealed she'd been asked if they'd like to have Stormy stop by her show. The host read from the interview in which Daniels provided details of her sexual encounters with Trump, eliciting a response from her.

"Odd, no", she said.

"Mrs Trump supported her husband's decision to run for President and in fact, encouraged him to do so".

In a odd back-and-forth, Kimmel suggested that the signature on the letter appeared different from how it appears in both autographs and another signed statement.
