Reported Missing By Her Mom While Filming the ABC Show

A woman who was reported missing in Humbolt County, California was actually just on 'The Bachelor, ' according to the North Coast Journal.

The news of her disappearance first appeared in a recent North Coast Journal article, titled "The Humboldt 35", about missing persons in the area.

The police could not remove Bekah from the missing persons system until they made direct contact with her, which didn't happen until this week. The sheriff's office replied back stating that they "got off the phone with Rebekah". She has finally been removed from the missing persons list. "She has been removed from the missing persons list".

Martinez, who has not granted an interview during her stint on "The Bachelor", joked about the incident on, . Her mom thought she had taken off to work on a marijuana farm and would return in seven to eight days. Her mother reported her missing on November 18 around 1 a.m., saying she had last had contact with her daughter on November 12. She indicated that she believes Bekah's mother had a "legitimate concern" as far as the wellbeing of her daughter went.

But, despite her face airing on national television every Monday night, for a couple months, she was listed as a missing person. "Yep", O'Brien wrote in a Facebook comment, "Rebekah Martinez is on this season of The Bachelor".

Bekah M. had posted on Instagram about taking a break from social media on September 17th (which may have been when she started filming "The Bachelor", which doesn't allow its contestants to use phones). When the publication asked its readers if they knew any of the faces, the reality star's was instantly recognizable.

"On Dec. 12, 2017, a deputy sheriff contacted Martinez's mother by email to inquire whether she had heard from Martinez", said a statement from the sheriff's office.

She also continued to poke fun at it all, adding: 'Honestly the scariest thing about this story is that my efforts to hide The Worst Drivers License Photo Of All Time have been thwarted.
