Some creatures that make an appearance are Kushala Daora, which defends itself by generating strong wind storms, and Teostra, who spits fire at any hunter who dares to face it in battle.

You'll note at least three new monsters introduced in the trailer.

For those that may have missed previous beta periods, there's one more left for players to get their hands on before launch.

Along with revealing new details about Monster Hunter World during a Japanese livestream today, Capcom announced a slate of new accessories and merchandise themed around the upcoming game.

This beta will be largely the same as the last ones, but features one new quest - a chance to fight the Elder Dragon, Nergigante - which was previously available at PlayStation Experience. Dodogama will be making its first appearance in World, and is a rock-eating dragon that can cause said rocks to become explosive with its saliva. The major title update will be heading into the game sometime in Spring 2018 and will include the fan-favourite monster Deviljho.

Not only that, during the Japanese live streaming of the game, Capcom also confirmed there will be regular content updates throughout. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against this brute. The fearsome beasts have even taken over the latest Monster Hunter: World trailer, because their presence must be made known.

Curious hunters will have one more chance to try out Monster Hunter: World thanks to a final beta test, which will be playable for all PlayStation 4 owners in North America from January 18-22.
