No injuries were reported, according to a JetBlue spokesman.

A JetBlue flight from Savannah skidded off the icy runway just moments after it touched down at Boston's Logan International Airport late Christmas Day.

The pilot assured the Air Traffic Control that he had the situation under control immediately after the shaky landing. After ATC told the pilot an emergency crew would respond, the pilot said, "we just need a tow". The flight had originated in Savannah, Georgia. Firefighters helped passengers off of the plane and they were bused to the terminal.

Earlier in the day Monday, flights into and out of Logan Airport were stopped for a time after fast-falling snow covered the runways, Jennifer Mehigan of Massport told ABC News.

Crews at Logan eventually cleared the runways around noon time and flights were back up and running, according to WHDH-TV. Heavy snows across the Boston area left thousands without power on Christmas Day.
