When Are Walmart & Target Open on Christmas Eve and Day 2017?

Tesco: All Tesco stores that are normally open on a Sunday will be on Christmas Eve, too.

Humberstone landfill in Welland, Bridge Street Landfill in Fort Erie and Niagara Road 12 landfill in West Lincoln, will be closed on Christmas day, but will reopen on Boxing Day at 8 a.m. and stay open until 4 p.m.

With Christmas just one day away, shopping plazas and malls are expected to be packed with people picking up last-minute gifts on Christmas Eve. Many CVS stores will be open until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Some locations to remain open Christmas Day.

Home Depot will be open 8 a.m. -5 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, the bigger stores which usually operate between 11am and 5pm will remain the same, although the smaller stores will generally reduce their opening times down to 7am-9pm.

Sears: Open 9 a.m.to 11 p.m. on December 23, and at 8 a.m.to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Best Buy: Open from 8 a.m. -6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Either way, you will be able to visit this store and purchase last-minute Christmas items.

Costco will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Big Lots: Big Lots will be open 7 am to 10 pm on Christmas Eve.

REI: Opens at 9 a.m.to 9 p.m. on December 23, and from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Lowe's: Normal hours until closing at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.

There is no garbage, blue box or recycling pick up on Christmas Day.

Toys R Us stores will remain open until 9 p.m. on December 24. The City-County Library will be closed Sunday, Dec. 24, and on Christmas Day.

Sears: Most locations close at 6 p.m. and are closed on Christmas, according to the website's store locator.

Some retail chains are already planning to stay open late for shoppers leading up to Christmas Day.

Rite Aid will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Dollar General's Christmas Eve hours are 7 a.m. -10 p.m. The Ben Franklin Place Skating Rink is closed on Christmas Day.
