Trump's accusers 'should be heard': Haley

On Monday morning, a trio of women - Rachel Crooks, Samantha Holvey and Jessica Leeds - went on Megyn Kelly's NBC show to reiterate allegations of sexual misconduct against President Donald Trump that they first aired during the 2016 presidential campaign.

"We are private citizens, and for us to put ourselves out there to try and show America who this man is, and especially how he views women, and for them to say, "Nah, we don't care" - it hurt", Samantha Holvey, a former Miss USA contestant, told NBC.

President Trump spent Tuesday morning tweeting disparaging remarks about several woman, including those who have accused him of sexual harassment and a U.S. senator who has called for his resignation amid those claims. "The timing and absurdity of these false claims speaks volumes and the publicity tour that has begun only further confirms the political motives behind them".

And aside from his own administration's claims that Trump has, in fact, been in the same room as at least some of the women, he has also been personally and professionally involved with others. She did not provide the list by late Monday. Roy Moore, the US Senate candidate in Alabama accused by nine women of sexual misconduct, has been endorsed by Trump, who held a campaign rally in nearby Pensacola, Florida, on Friday.

Gillibrand told CNN on Monday that the allegations of sexual misconduct are credible and numerous and that Trump should resign.

With a cultural shift empowering women to overcome their fear and speak out, and with three United States lawmakers announcing their resignations from Congress last week over sexual harassment allegations, some of Trump's accusers are publicly repeating their stories and demanding accountability.

While the Russian Federation investigation has clouded his administration for months, the charges of sexual misconduct have recently gained new prominence as a wave of similar allegations have led to resignations and firings of powerful men in Congress, Hollywood and the media.

"This took place long before he was elected to be president and the people of this country had a decisive election, supported President Trump", Sanders said.

Trump could be forced to testify in court regarding the sexual misconduct allegations as part of a defamation lawsuit filed by Summer Zervos, one of his accusers, if the case is not dismissed.

"A lot of the women who we talked to about coming on to the program--you know, open Trump accusers--were too scared to do it".

In the same article, Crooks said Trump forcibly kissed her when the two met in 2005.

Holvey said she felt like she "was just simply there for his pleasure". And I think we heard from them prior to the election. A number of Democratic lawmakers are also demanding Trump's resignation.

Many of Trump's accusers, contrary to the statement, were not publicly contradicted by eyewitnesses.
