Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Stanley Meador on Saturday asked businesses or residents who live on U.S. Highway 17 or state Highway 53 in Onslow and Pender counties to call police if they have surveillance cameras.

Kimrey is being held on more than $1 million bond. WITN is reporting Kimrey is the live-in boyfriend of Mariah Woods' mother.

Officials refused to say how the girl was killed.

Miller said that the outpouring of support from the community has been "overwhelming" and asked that residents continue to support each other "as we all grieve the life of this little girl and still focus on finding her". The warrant states that he obstructed justice by "removing Mariah Woods body from the scene of her death and did hide Mariah Woods death and body, knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes".

In a statement issued just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, the sheriff's office said that information gathered in the search for Mariah led authorities to believe she is dead, although no body has been recovered.

The agency is transitioning from search operations to recovery operations, officials said.

Mariah's family has said that the 3-year-old struggles to get around on her own and wears leg braces for assistance.

Arrest warrants obtained by CBS North Carolina report Kimrey obstructed justice by, "removing Mariah Woods' body from the scene of her death and did hide Mariah Woods' death and body, knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes".

More than 700 volunteers turned out Friday as the search for the missing girl shifted to the area around a creek a few miles from her home, CNN affiliate WNCN reported.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation have arrested 32-year-old Earl Kimrey in connection to the disappearance of 3-year-old Mariah Woods. He is also charged with second-degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen property, authorities said. Deputies did not release any details on how she may have died.

The statement did not indicate whether Kimrey had a lawyer or if anyone else could also be charged.

'Someone just walked right up in there, grabbed the 3-year-old out of the bed and she didn't cry, she didn't scream? She has been missing from her home since Monday.

Kimrey "secretly disposed of the dead child's body", the warrant said.
