Los Angeles has won four of its last five games, with the lone setback in that span coming against Seattle - the team with which it is tied for the division lead.

None of the ineffectiveness stopped in the second half as the Rams continued to roll. The Rams, meanwhile, are second in the league behind only the Houston Texans, averaging 30.3 points per game. Four plays later, Tyler Higbee caught an eight-yard touchdown from Jared Goff for the first points of the game. Quarterback Eli Manning had an interception and a fumble and missed three potential long touchdowns.

New York's players showed a lack of effort on defense, offense, and special teams.

Higbee's touchdown made him the ninth consecutive tight end to score against the Giants defense, setting a new National Football League record for futility. The second was a 67-yard strike to receiver Sammy Watkins.

In the final minutes of the second quarter, Manning committed another turnover after being intercepted by Trumaine Johnson at the Giants 30 on a poorly thrown ball intended for Roger Lewis Jr., which set up a field goal and put the Rams up 27-10 at halftime.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, it's the first time a team has scored a touchdown with a down-and-distance of at least 33 yards since 2001. RB Todd Gurley had 104 all-purpose offensive yards and two rushing touchdowns. The Rams recovered two NY fumbles and intercepted one Eli Manning pass.

Rams' place kicker Greg Zuerlein continued his excellent season going a ideal 9-for-9 on kick attempts, including three field goals and six extra points. Last November, they scored a total of 50 points in four games. His 311 passing yards and 4 touchdowns are both a new career high. He made the score 48-17 with a 10-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Evan Engram.

The Rams' good fortunate started early. Higbee, not normally used as a receiver, opened the scoring with an 8-yard touchdown grab 4:05 into the contest. Sterling Shepard returned to catch 5 passes for 70 yards.
