A Utah girl became overjoyed when she learned she would be adopted, and the heartwarming moment was captured on camera.

"Jackie" to Tannah, has known the girl for nearly two years and has become close friends with her soon-to-be adoptive parents.

Finally, after two years and various setbacks, the Utah couple's application was approved, and they gave Tannah's school office manager Jackie Alexander permission to share the good news. 'My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming'.

Upon hearing the news, Tannah leapt into her teacher's arms to embrace her and refused to let go.

"[Tannah's mom] knew she would want to know right away because she had been so anxious", Alexander wrote on Instagram.

Tannah's soon-to-be mother, Jennifer Fisher, says she's grateful the camera recorded the moment. To tell a little girl that she gets her family forever takes the cake.

"I grabbed her shoulders and said, have you heard the news baby?"

"They are just caring, loving, they take really good care of me", said Butterfield. "I just thought oh my gosh we did the right thing". "It resembled 'ah!' It resembled shouting", she said.

"She was just so anxious and didn't want her to wait any longer, so that's where I got to play a small part", she added.

"This is like the biggest thing that's ever happened to me", Tannah Butterfield told KUTV. Tannah was so happy she could not stop hugging Miss Jackie. "My husband and I had a lot of infertility problems and we had wanted more".

Posting the video on Instagram, a day after the Las Vegas massacre, Jackie wrote that the world needed some more "light and joy".

It is the handsome moment being shared around the world.
