The iPhone 8 Plus beats the best smartphone camera from Samsung

While the iPhone 8 would capture the usual upgrade cycle, the iPhone X - which looks completely different than any iPhone before - would spur many long-time holdouts into not only buying a new iPhone, but paying a big premium.

As we all know that aluminium is much stronger than glass so it is much easier to crack the back of the iPhone 8.

Compared to other smartphone making companies that are usually known to emphasize on specifications during its launch events, Apple does otherwise.

IHS has revealed that Apple spends $247.51 on all the components of a single unit of 64 iPhone 8.

The recent release of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus saw Apple increase the price of both devices with many left wondering how exactly this could be justified.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus do offer a lot of improvements over the prior-generation iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Its ship date of November 3 is significantly later than the iPhone 8, which are already available in stores and online for immediate shipping. The device also costs about $7.36 for basic manufacturing, bringing its overall cost to $295.44, almost $20 more than the iPhone 7 Plus when it was released. Industry analyst Wayne Lam said that the "added value went to memory, camera, and chipsey". The new iPhones are now limited to two options. The larger base storage capacity costs Apple $6 more per unit, while the new A11 Bionic processor costs about $5 more per unit, IHS said. The latest reports on that matter are pointing to the TrueDepth camera system that powers the new iPhone's face ID security as being the problem.

Another thing to consider is the iPhone X's different form factor from the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the rest of its predecessors.

Several previously unknown details about the iPhone X's specifications and internals have just been revealed by a filing with Chinese communication regulators.

There were rumors going around before the launch of the X that Apple was attempting to put the fingerprint sensor underneath the glass of the screen but struggled to do so due to the amount of space the technology needed. Some of the other flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, and Nokia 8 come with 3300mAh, 3500mAh and 3090mAh battery respectively.
