Two Last Chance U Players Charged In Stabbing Death

Isaiah Wright, one of the stars of the Netflix series "Last Chance U," and his brother, Camion Patrick, a wide receiver for IN last season, were arrested on Wednesday and have been charged with the murder of a 18-year-old Tennessee teen.

Camion Patrick, 22, was arrested Wednesday by police in Bloomington and his 20-year-old brother Isaiah Wright was arrested Wednesday in Tennessee.

Last Chance U featured the East Mississippi Community College football team for two seasons. He played for the Hoosiers for two seasons, in 2015 and 2016. After leaving the school, to play for West Georgia but is no longer enrolled at the school. Now the Last Chance U talents join them. Radford, 18, was found stabbed multiple times on a street in Louisville, Tenn.

To the extent that Season 2 of Last Chance Uhad a player protagonist, Wright was it. A week after Radford was discovered, Keshawn Lonnell Hopewell and Itiq Tivone Green were charged with criminal homicide and were being held on $1 million bond each.

As for Patrick, his football career was blighted by injury and although he was granted full scholarship via a "medical hardship waiver", meaning he would have been allowed to complete his studies without playing football, he has been suspended following this news.

Netflix announced the series would not return to EMCC following the second season of filming.

Both were arrested Wednesday - Patrick in Bloomington, Indiana, and Wright in Harriman, Tennessee. He remained in custody in IN on Thursday, pending his extradition to Blount County. He redshirted his first season but was a big part of EMCC's run to the junior college national championship in 2014. ESPN reports there is not yet any information on hearing dates.
