The actress has just unveiled new poignant details about her children and her divorce with Brad Pitt.

"I can't tell if they're excited or they're more like, 'Mom, ehh.' I think they were laughing at us before. It's very, very hard, a very painful situation, and I just want my family healthy", the Maleficent star said during an interview with The New York Times, adding, "They're getting better".

Angelina Jolie, who recently set the record straight after being annoyed by the rumors, confessed that she had put her career in parentheses to protect her family and support her.

For her, it goes both ways, with the Oscar-winner, saying, "They really help me so much".

She is also preparing to step back in front of the camera for the sequel to her Disney hit Maleficent, but is determined to make sure her schedule revolves around the needs of her young family.

She said, "When I first read it, it really affected me, but I didn't think of making a film..."

In a new exclusive interview with People magazine, Jolie opened up about her "difficult" year, which she said made her stronger.

Mail Online reported that Jolie's face did not show any shred of harboring any rancor in the aftermath of her divorce from Pitt when she appeared on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival last Monday.

"It took me a few months to realize that I was really going to have to do it". In addition, she focused on her children who also suffered severely from the separation of the Brangelina. "Nobody in my life has ever stood by me more". "Every location, every type of project, I'm going to have to adjust it to however much they can handle".

We're sure the Jolie-Pitt brood is grateful for their mother's attentive nature. "Another home.... That there was going to have to be another base regardless of everything", she says, adding that "It's like living in a fraternity".

At the end of the day, we're just happy to hear that Angelina and her kids are doing so well.
