Fox News has been rocked by sexual harassment scandal over the past year. "Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated", he said on his Twitter account.

We're alluding to why the son of now fired Fox News Channel host Eric Bolling may have committed suicide mere hours after his father was forced out of the network.

While a cause of death has not been confirmed, sources told TMZ.com that Eric Chase Bolling, Jr died from a drug overdose.

After The Huffington Post reported on the allegations against Bolling last month, Caroline Heldman, a former frequent guest on Fox News, posted on Facebook about her own interactions with the host.

Fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity tweeted a message of support for Bolling, who has subbed in on Hannity's primetime show and also co-hosted "The Five".

Katie Pavlich, a commentator who frequently appears on Fox News, tweeted: "Overwhelmed by the news of Eric Bolling's son".

Bolling was suspended in early August after HuffPost reported allegations that he sent lewd texts to female colleagues.

Boulder police had no information beyond a statement that they are investigating an "unattended death" that occurred in the 900 block of 28th Street in the city.

"Just heard that Fox colleague and friend @ericbolling 19 yr. old son died; Prayers for Eric and family", Gov. Mike Huckabee wrote.
