Jubilation In Abuja As Buhari Returns Home

Former Special Assistant on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has stated reasons Nigeria's economy flourished under Jonathan's regime while its recessing under President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement issued by Dayo Adeyeye, PDP national publicity secretary, the party welcomed the president back to the country and thanked God for saving his life.

"The Governor disclosed that a week ago he had spoken with the President and the President had requested him to express his honest appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers and moral support".

His aide, Femi Adesina had told reporters that president Buhari will address the nation on the 21st of August.

Buhari left for London since May 7 where he had been receiving medical attention after formally transferring power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as required by the Constitution.

Residents of Abuja could not hide their joy as President Muhammadu Buhari returns to the country from his medical trip.
