"I was very angry", the baby's mother said.

Two juvenile babysitters were arrested in MA after they allegedly put a baby into a refrigerator and posted a video of it on Snapchat. They removed the child soon after.

The two girls, whose names have not been released, were babysitting the infant on Monday at home in Danvers, Massachusetts, when they filmed the video that later appeared on Snapchat.

The mother of the 8-month-old told WBZ-TV that her 15-year-old niece and her 14-year-old friend watched the child for a half an hour while she showered.

"I was horrified. I was in shock", the mother said.

Police said one of the Snaps show the 7-month-old's caregivers, including the tot's cousin, put the girl in the refrigerator, close the door and laugh. It's pretty clear to see that they were joking and laughing.

Police in Danvers, Massachusetts found nothing amusing about a baby put into a refrigerator.

Speaking with WCVB, police sources confirmed the validity of the video and revealed that the pair were charged with child endangerment and assault and battery with a unsafe weapon.

'Teenagers are silly, stupid, foolish - they do things like that - and I've been a teenager before.

Fortunately, the baby was not injured in the incident and is with its family.

"You live, you learn and this is a lesson my niece will learn to be careful who you leave your children with. you can't trust anyone, not even your own family", said Bonnie.
