James Corden defers to Bennington's widow over segment

The Linkin Park frontman filmed the episode for Carpool Karaoke: The Series alongside the rest of his band before his death in July. "The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left".

He said, "I talked to Barack about it".

For those just catching up now, Carpool Karaoke previously paired Corden with a surprise guest in side a vehicle, where the two drive off to talk and sing about anything under the sun. These interviews will pair up stars like John Legend and Alicia Keys, and Seth MacFarlane with Ariana Grande. "He told me that he felt confident that I had the ears for the role", Smith joked.

Carpool Karaoke has become arguably more popular than James Corden actual show, The Late Late Show.

At one point in the video, Corden asks Smith if anyone has asked him to play Barack Obama in a movie yet.

Recalling his early career, Smith said: "I wrote my first rhyme when I was 12 but it never got released".

Apple Music's standalone "Carpool Karaoke" series has officially launched-and its first guest was Will Smith.

"It's a tragedy." Chester's widow Talinda took to Twitter to thank James for the decision, simply writing, "Thank you @JKCorden" and "Thank you @CarpoolKaraoke".
