This season was different. The daughter says she's proud of him for finishing in eighth place and then ABC sends them to Disneyland because sure.

For those of you who do NOT want to know any Bachelor in Paradise spoilers, STOP READING NOW. "I hope that in watching it back, you realize that you were a part of something so great", Rachel said. If you didn't, here's a quick synopsis: an ingratiating white Southern singer/songwriter named Lee confessed during the season that he was there "to ruffle feathers".

On Monday night, pro wrestler Kenny Layne, a.k.a. "I feel like America didn't get to see their true worth, because they're such unbelievable guys", she confessed. Contestants including DeMario Jackson, Will Gaskins, and Josiah Graham doggedly and eloquently confronted Garrett about his history of racist tweets and his malicious behavior toward black contestants like Kenny King.

The other contestants didn't know about those at the time, but they certainly did at the MTA. But Harrison read aloud some of Lee's explosive tweets... "One has a sense of shame to cover their racist a** faces". Chris Harrison let Lee give his final statement: "Even with doubt", Lee said, "you guys are reaching out to help".

"Kenny might have been the most well-liked guy in the house and it's hard to say the same about Lee".

Even after this thoughtful explainer, it took a lot more handholding from Harrison and prodding from Gaskins before Garrett would concede that even that one individual tweet was racist. Thank goodness the other guys aren't letting him off the hook that easy. Unglert's (very bad) joke was quickly dragged on social media, but the 25-year-old managed to redeem himself with Lindsay.

Anthony repeatedly asks Lee to explain what he did wrong, and Iggy reiterates the question.

This is where it gets interesting. The single dad did, however, express doubt that production really didn't know about Lee's Twitter history before casting him on the show.

As for Garrett, when asked about his racist and sexist comments, he said, "I am grateful that I have people in my life now that make me not like I was when I made a racist comment". "Lee made a point to badger certain people and I think it's unfair to the people he criticized". The black men he'd been racist toward didn't write him off completely; instead, they gave him the opportunity to apologize and own his mistakes and grow as a person. Unglert does maintain, however, that he was really considering marriage to Lindsey at the time he was sent home which is why he wanted her to meet his father. "That's something I had to deal with before I chose to be the first [black] Bachelorette", Lindsay tells Us.

"She's always going to have a piece of my heart, but I understand that door is closed."
"It's enough to show me that I do want to continue to learn and I want to learn more". This is what one might call the "TV" aspect of "reality TV".

The falling action of the "Men Tell All" episode saw Rachel call out Demario for his dishonesty.
