Various bugs have been fixed.

The "Magitek Armor" invincibility suits have been added.

This month's update, aptly titled the July update, adds a few new things into the game for players to enjoy, with the biggest of them being the Magitek Exosuits.

Final Fantasy 15 players can finally clad themselves in the game's long-awaited invincibility armour - after a redesign to make it look less like the Power Rangers.

Besides the exosuits, today's update also adds a brand new quest along with a team-up mechanic called Cross Chain that increases the number of linked attacks players can perform in battle.

The new quest, "O Partner, My Partner", comes without any specific details as to what the quest entails but we do know that players can accept it from the Meldacio Hunter HQ after completing Chapter Eight.

Return of the beloved Moogle Chocobo™ Carnival - from July 31 to late September, players of all levels can once again journey to Altissia for limited-time-only mini-games, Chocobo water races and special Moogle Chocobo menu items at the Square Enix® Café*.

The new Cross Chain system allows heavy hits and defense breaks with additional chain links between you and the gang.

If you overwrite save data from the old version with save data of this version, it can no longer be used in the old version.

All of this comes ahead of Final Fantasy XV's anticipated new multiplayer DLC, a closed beta for which will run from August 3 through August 8 for Season Pass owners.
