Obdulia had just graduated high school, her father, Nicandro Sanchez, told local media, but "had a lot of problems", noting that she had spent the past two years in child protective services. The elder Sanchez has been arrested on driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter charges.

Jacqueline Sanchez, 14, of Stockton died in the crash.

A mother and father in California are reeling from the worst kind of tragedy imaginable right now: a auto accident that left one of their teenage daughters dead and the other in jail on suspicion of drunk driving and manslaughter. Seja says she and 14-year-old Jacquelin Sanchez dated for seven months.

A Stockton woman is in Merced County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence and causing a deadly crash on Friday, which she posted in real-time on her Instagram Story. The sound of metal can be heard scratching as the vehicle rolled over and smashed through a barbed wire fence in Los Banos, California. It was not immediately clear if Sanchez had an attorney.

"People are involved in tragic vehicle accidents every day where someone dies".

The Instagram post ends with her kneeling next to her dead sister. It's all affected by social media.

"The main thing that I want people to know is that - most people have seen this video and they just have this reaction on the kind of person she is based on this little clip into her life when they don't know anything about her", Samrao said.

Samrao says her life should be judged on what she's overcome, not by one moment that forever changed her life. "This is the last thing that I wanted to happen, OK?" I killed my sister, but I don't care. "She feels bad for herself, but she killed her own sister". "They know nothing about her history, or her history in the foster care system, or that she was a victim of sex trafficking". "I'm sorry baby. I'm a hold it down". "I did not mean to kill you sweetie".

Manuela Seja lives in Stockton, about 140 miles away from the Sanchez home in Los Banos. The CHP says Sanchez was under the influence when she rolled her auto over, into a barbed wire fence and then a field.

"Wake up baby, I'm f**king sorry baby", she says. "It's shocking behavior, no question about it", Nutt said outside court. "She wasn't like everybody else".

That history also includes a prior conviction for reckless driving when she was 14 years old, according to records from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Nicandro calls it an accident, and tells ABC affiliate KFSN, "What I think is she knows she's done something wrong". (We aren't linking to the video, as it's incredibly graphic and disturbing.) Obdulia Sanchez can be heard on the video, growing increasingly hysterical and erratic. Her parents haven't spoken to the 18-year-old, but they have seen the video.
