Indian Railways to reward Rs 1.30 cr to Mithali & Co

The felicitation ceremony was held over India's overwhelming performance in the Women's Cricket World Cup 2017.

On Thursday, Sports Minister Vijay Goel felicitated the 15 heroines for their journey to the finals, saying their feats will spark a revolution in women's cricket in the country. However, the journey of the Indian women in the quadrennial event was remarkable. "We couldn't reach Super Six (stage) at home in 2013 (World Cup) so we wanted to do well this time".
