Antonio Conte would love to stick with Chelsea for a generation

This season, the tables have turned and Chelsea are not talking of just a silverware, but two! We have forgotten already last season.

Though not the biggest of rival the fierce battles between them in recent times have made it one of the most competitive rivalries in English football. One of the Arsenal players who played in that final was Martin Keown, now a columnist with the Daily Mail and he believes the Blues are the favourites.

The London teams will meet Saturday in the FA Cup final, with Chelsea hoping to win its second league-cup double since 2010 and Arsenal wanting to make up for missing out on the Champions League with a season-ending trophy at Wembley Stadium.

"Everyone associated with Chelsea Football Club offers our heartfelt condolences to those affected by Monday's terror attack in Manchester", said a statement. No, what I want is to win the next game. "Wenger has now won the competition six times - a seventh would indeed be a magnificent achievement".

Arsenal fear that Shkodran Mustafi is set to become the fourth key player ruled out of Saturday evening's FA Cup final against Chelsea, according to the Mirror. The big German is clearly past it and surely can not be trusted to marshall the defence in a game as big as the FA Cup final.

Arsenal have won two of the last three FA Cup finals, so they will be keen to get the red ribbons back on the famous trophy when they take on Chelsea at Wembley. Arsenal on the other hand have failed to make it to the top-four and will play in the Europa League next season.

The Cup final could also be a swansong for Alexis Sanchez, whose agent is known to have spoken to German champions Bayern Munich this week. Arsenal are hopeful of beating league champions Chelsea after elimination Manchester City in the semifinal 2-1 with Alexis Sanchez scoring the victor in the extra time at the New Wembley stadium.

The FA say moving the start time from a traditional 3pm slot attracts record audiences around the world.

Despite Conte's respect for Wenger, there will be no let-up from the Italian, who wants his side to complete a remarkable season.

Mertesacker, who underwent knee surgery after picking up an injury during a friendly last July, was sidelined all season until he came off the bench in Arsenal's final Premier League game against Everton on Sunday.
